The Director of Federal Housing Authority, Aondo Ver, has been kidnapped by terrorists colloquially known as “bandits” at the Bwari Area of FCT on Thursday.

According to SaharaReporters, the incident occurred at Pambara New Extension, a location close to the Military Camp and checkpoint in the Bwari Area of FCT, Abuja.

The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, as earlier reported, had stated the government won’t give room for insecurities caused by kidnappers in the capital of Abuja.

However, in a recall, the Federal Government had in its 2021 terrorism reports declared the “bandits” a terrorist organization following the attacks and kidnappings in the North West and North Central regions of the country for reportedly causing more civilian deaths than Boko Haram and ISIS-WA in the Northeast.

Meanwhile, the terrorists are yet to claim responsibility for the attack, as their way of communicating such is by demanding ransom.
