Gunmen Abduct Pregnant Woman Due For Delivery In Ogun State

Gunmen Pregnant Woman Ogun

Gunmen have kidnapped a pregnant woman, known as Mrs. Ogunbunmi, in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun state.

Mrs Ogunbunmi, due to deliver soon, had left her home in Oke Lantoro to go to the State Hospital in Ijaiye, Abeokuta.

Her husband, Ogunbunmi Lateef, reported receiving a WhatsApp message from the kidnappers notifying him of his wife’s abduction.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident in a brief statement on Thursday, stating that the suspected abduction had been reported to the command.

She said:

One Ogunbunmi Lateef of Oke Lantoro, Abeokuta, reported that his pregnant wife, due for delivery left home for State Hospital, Ijaiye, Abeokuta.

He received a WhatsApp message confirming the abduction of his wife by unknown armed men, Odutola stated.
