Hoodlums led by the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) have chased away #EndBadGovernance protesters in Akure, Ondo State.

They intimidated the residents to prevent them from joining the nationwide protests against bad governance.

Armed with machetes, knives, and sticks, the thugs have been seen at various locations, including NEPA roundabout, Oluwatuyi, First Bank, Oja Oba/Adesida road, Cathedral, and Oba N’la junction, as reported by Peoples Gazette.

“We’re warning everyone now. We said nobody should come out to protest. If anyone dares us, we will finish them,” Peoples Gazette quoted one of the thugs saying. “It is better if you listen. Ondo state is very peaceful. Nobody should come out to protest here. Don’t be instigated.”
