The Kaduna State Security Council announced a curfew in the state effective from Tuesday after the nationwide #EndBadGovernance protest escalated in the state.

The protesters are demanding that the government tackle the high cost of commodities in the country. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu gave a speech on Sunday in response to the protests, urging citizens to embrace dialogue. But protests have continued in some parts of the country.
