Grayson Murray, a two-time PGA Tour winner, is dead. He died on Saturday at the age of 30, according to a statement from the PGA Tour.

His death came just a day after he withdrew from the Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas, citing illness.

“We were devastated to learn – and are heartbroken to share – that PGA Tour player Grayson Murray passed away this morning. I am at a loss for words,” said PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan. “The PGA Tour is a family; when you lose a family member, you are never the same.”

Murray, who won his latest title at the Sony Open earlier this year, was ranked 58 globally. He claimed his first PGA Tour victory in 2017.

The PGA Tour did not disclose the cause of Murray’s death. Monahan mentioned that the decision to continue the Charles Schwab Challenge was made after consulting with Murray’s family.
