Nigerian actress Eniola Badmus has been appointed as the Special Adviser to the Speaker of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Tajudeen Abbas, on Social Events and Public Hearings.

The announcement, made on Friday, May 10th, has sparked a wave of reactions, with many expressing their views on Badmus’s appointment, some of her fans also congratulating her.

Eniola Badmus, is known for her contributions to the Nigerian entertainment industry, and her support for the ruling party All Progressive Congress(APC) during the last general elections.

Netizens question the alignment of Badmus’s expertise with the roles outlined in the appointment, particularly in the areas of social events and public hearings. While some criticized the title of the appointment, and refer the appointment as a pay for her support for the ruling party during the last elections.
