Through Grammy Go on Coursera, participants can access classes taught by Recording Academy members, Grammy nominees, and winners.

Enrollment is now open for Grammy Go’s inaugural Coursera specialisation titled “Building Your Audience for Music Professionals,” led by Joey Harris, an esteemed international music/marketing executive and CEO of Joey Harris Inc. The course features insights from industry icons such as Jimmy Jam, Janelle Monáe, and Victoria Monét, offering essential skills to establish a strong brand presence and cultivate a dedicated fanbase in today’s dynamic music landscape.

The partnership’s second offering, “Music Production: Crafting an Award-Worthy Song,” set to launch later this summer, focuses on enhancing the technological and audio proficiency of music producers. Led by Carolyn Malachi, a Grammy-nominated artist and Howard University professor, the course will include contributions from notable figures like Cirkut, Hit-Boy, Judith Sherman, Stevie Mackey, and Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr.

Panos A. Panay, president of the Recording Academy, emphasised the organisation’s commitment to nurturing music creators through initiatives like Grammy Go. He highlighted the platform’s role in providing essential tools for professional and creative growth.

Marni Baker Stein, chief content officer at Coursera, expressed excitement about welcoming Grammy Go as the platform’s first entertainment partner. She emphasised the invaluable opportunity for aspiring music professionals worldwide to learn directly from industry experts and iconic artists.

Grammy Go marks the Recording Academy’s first creator-to-creator learning platform, offering a unique avenue for music education. For more details and enrollment, visit go.grammy.com or explore the landing page for “Building Your Audience for Music Professionals.”
