Aston Villa’s manager Unai Emery has committed his future to the club by signing a new five-year contract.

The Spaniard, who guided Villa to a historic fourth-place finish in the Premier League last season, securing Champions League football for the first time, has expressed his enthusiasm for continuing his work at Villa Park.

Emery, reflecting on his decision, said,

“I am very happy to take this step and the responsibility of leading this club. Since I came to Villa with Wes and Nassef, we found always the best environment and structure to develop a project with the highest ambition.”

Under Emery’s leadership, Aston Villa has not only excelled on the pitch but also built a cohesive and ambitious footballing structure.

Emery praised the collaborative efforts of the club’s football structure, including Monchi and Damian, alongside the support from the owners.

“We share the same vision and same goals,” he said, emphasizing the alignment within the club.

Emery also highlighted the exceptional support from Aston Villa’s fans, which he believes has been a crucial element in creating a home-like atmosphere.

“There’s a great chemistry in Aston Villa. And the element of the fans’ support also makes the difference to feel like home. We are really excited to continue this journey with no limits to our dreams.”
