Famous music video director TG Omori has assured his fans that he will recover soon following a failed kidney transplant. Omori took to Instagram on Wednesday, 28th August 2024, sharing a picture of himself lying in a hospital bed with an oxygen mask and the caption, “Will be up soon. I promise!”

The post quickly garnered attention, with fans, followers, and celebrities flooding the comments section with well wishes, prayers, and support for the director’s speedy recovery.

This update comes shortly after Omori revealed on X about the failed kidney transplant. He wrote, “One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant at St. Nicolas Lagos. Pray for me.” West Africa Weekly also reported that Omori revealed how his only brother had donated a kidney to him after his kidney failed.

His post sparked a range of reactions on social media, with many sending their best wishes while some highlighted the role his smoking habit might have played in his health struggles. Omori had earlier shared a tearful image on his Instagram story, expressing his fear of dying.
