Breaking News: Fresh Terror Attack Hits Shere Village in Jos East

Following the unprovoked attacks that led to the loss of nearly 200 dead, many injured, and others displaced on the 24th of December night, reports of terror attacks have been reportedly carried out in Shere Village, Jos East Plateau State, Nigeria.

With two villagers confirmed murdered in cold blood, one of the aggressors also got a blowback rifle in resistance leaving him unalive. This resistance, however, was carried out by the self-defense joint group called vigilantes whom many at the risk of their lives stood to protect the community and lands against the Islamist Fulani attacker whose motive has been suspected to unsettle the indigenous people of Middle Belt, Plateau for their settlement.

Amidst the motive suspicion, the public authorities and security agencies have again shown their level of proactiveness to be mid as public benefit of the doubt on government and law enforcement agencies keeping up with the oath to office is fast shrinking.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria travel advisory agency as of Saturday, 30th 2023 issued a travel advisory warning for incoming or outgoing travel to be reconsidered with a high-security level of 3.8 out of 5.
